ON DISPLAY AT THREE OF CANES EVENT 'CORPUS EX MACHINA' OCT. 25TH, 2025.
Installation of 8 CRT televisions playing a stop motion animation via RF transmission.
Miss Wire was animated using stop motion, motion tracking, and chroma keying. The sculpture is comprised of reclaimed materials, air dry clay, and acrylic paint.The composite of the two stop motions (top) and the voice clips were made by Ramona Ryder. Scripting, sculpting, animation, chroma keying and overall video composition was done by Marcellus C. Duchand.

Awarded the Superlative award "Video Room at Sears" at the festival.
An installation of 8 CRT's using rf modulation, VHS tapes, and live camera feeds to present video art created by Marcellus C. Duchand and Ramona Ryder.

Footage was filmed locally on DSLR and point and shoot cameras using a small variety of modern and vintage lenses and cut together on a computer by Ryder.

Terms of service of photographic work done by
Marcellus C. Duchand are as follows:
Bookings made for paid photoshoots will be billed at a half day and full day rates at $40/hr at a 12 hour day rate unless explicitly otherwise specified, negotiated, or advertised beforehand. There will be a non-refundable downpayment of 3 hours expected before the shoot date and any and all shoots that exceed the 6 hour mark will be billed at a full day rate. Hours travelled will also be billed after 40 miles of travel by the photographer to a site. This will be estimated as a flat rate and agreed upon beforehand. Same day cancellations will be charged a full 12 hr day rate. Payment will be expected within 30 days of receiving your invoice via bank transfer, online payment services, cash, or check. Specialty services and negotiated rates will be billed on a case by case basis.Alternative rate agreements may be written and signed by both parties.All persons appearing in any photographs done will be required to sign their own copy of the photographer's release forms. Minors will need an accompanying signature from a legal guardian. The release forms are subject to change, however images covered under a signed release will not be affected by future changes. Likewise, any future projects will be subject to current release forms and permissions. Negotiated releases may be negotiated on a case by case basis but changes to the release may be denied and the project passed on if they are not agreeable to the photographer.The photographer reserves the right to terminate services at any point during the paid shoot, and the client will be billed for hours worked/the downpayment save for the following where in which a full day rate will be billed to the client:Harassment of any kind to any persons present at shoot
Property damage and/or theft
Indecent exposure not agreed upon by all persons present at shoot
Any behaviours that put any and all present parties at unreasonable emotional or physical risk
Release of images and personage in photographic work done
by Marcellus C. Duchand are as follows:
I consent to have my photograph taken by MARCELLUS C. DUCHAND and understand that my image may be owned and distributed in the following different ways:EDITORIAL IMAGERY
Editorial images, captured for the sake of art, in which the sitter is acting as a model, are the sole property of MARCELLUS C. DUCHAND. Agreements by way of compensation via print, or to the extent of which the model is permitted to distribute the images physically or digitally such as in portfolios or on photo sharing websites such as Instagram, are to be discussed beforehand.The sitter is never permitted to edit or alter these images, even in the event of permitted and approved distribution. No distribution of any kind will be permitted wherein accreditation to the photographer is not present.The sitter agrees when producing this kind of work with the photographer that these photographs and their personage in them will be used in perpetuity by the photographer in various formats such as art showings, print/sale, online photo sharing, and portfolios.Full reels and unprocessed imagery will never be provided to the sitter and the sitter forfeits any claim to these images. Large format versions for print or distribution will also be withheld. The sitter understands that while they may not have access to these files, they will be stored and archived in perpetuity by MARCELLUS C. DUCHAND and may be used for other projects as photographic material in the future.VANITY IMAGERY
Vanity shoots, such as graduation portrait sessions, holiday cards, digitals for modelling portfolios, passport photos etc. will be owned by both MARCELLUS C. DUCHAND and the client equally. The right to distribute and use this imagery in various formats such as art showings, print, and online photo sharing belongs to both parties.The sitter agrees that while they may own any final processed images produced from the shoot, they forfeit the right to any raw images or full reels. The sitter acknowledges the photographer has no responsibility to archive these raw images, and that the photographer will use their professional discretion when choosing the final shots to process and release. Large format files of processed images for print will be released to the sitter/client and will always be archived and accessible for up to 1 year.PROPRIETARY RIGHTS
Images produced for the purpose of being the sole proprietary property of the client during a private photoshoot with the photographer, such as product images, extensive professional modelling portfolios, advertising, social media etc. are acknowledged by the photographer to be upon finishing the project the sole intellectual and copyright property of the client.Proprietary rights will only be granted by MARCELLUS C. DUCHAND to the client for a one time fee of $1500 and if MARCELLUS C. DUCHAND feels that the work is appropriate to be sold in this manner. Otherwise the project may be passed on or the sale of proprietary rights denied.When these rights are granted to be sold to the client, the photographer acknowledges that the images will only be for distribution by the client and may be altered or edited in the future. The photographer will also provide full reels of raw and unprocessed images in addition to finished large format images, and will archive these reels for up to a year as a backup for the client.I, ________________________, have reviewed and understand these policies and agree to uphold this agreement with MARCELLUS C. DUCHAND and that I will within all reason do everything within my power to uphold and adhere to these terms.I, ________________________, understand and agree that without the approved sale of proprietary rights for my payment of $1500 to MARCELLUS C. DUCHAND that the images produced will be the proprietary property of MARCELLUS C. DUCHAND and under their copyright.I, ________________________, understand and agree that I may only distribute the images produced in the agreed upon manners and circumstances as listed above as it pertains to my particular project.This document serves as a written agreement between the photographer, MARCELLUS C. DUCHAND, and the client, ________________________, as a contract of release of photographic images, _’s personage in said images, and the ownership of the copyright of the images.Both parties have reviewed, and agreed upon these terms on this day ________ the ____ of __________ in the year .X XWhere applicable:
